Genk rail port to boost Belgian freight Uncategorized by railsistem@gmail.com - March 28, 2019March 29, 20190 BELGIUM: The H Essers Railport Genk freight terminal is to be developed at the Euro Terminal Genk site in Belgium which H Essers has acquired from Lineas. The terminal will be secured and equipped for the handling of chemical, pharmaceutical and high-value products. This is intended to help develop rail services between Genk and the ports of Antwerpen, Gent and Zeebrugge. ‘The H Essers Railport will allow customers in the Genk area to more easily shift to rail and use existing and future direct connections out of Genk’, said Sam Bruynseels, Managing Director of Lineas Intermodal on March 19. ‘Moreover, they can easily connect to the rest of Europe through the Lineas Green Xpress Network via Antwerpen.’ Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Related Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Google Plus Share Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share Send email Mail
