
INDUSTRY sources say five ex-ScotRail Class 314s could be on their way to Transport for London to alleviate problems on Gospel Oak to Barking (Goblin) services.
There have been just three shortened Class 378 EMUs operating from March 18 after the last of the Class 172s were transferred to West Midlands Railway.

There is no indication when the new Bombardier Class 710s will be passed for passenger services, with Goblin line service frequency reduced from 15min to 30min, and just three units available.
Extra buses are running between some intermediate stations.
No. 314204 was moved from Yoker to Springburn Works, and then placed on a low loader, with the intention of a road move to Eastleigh, where a C4 overhaul will be carried out on the brakes and bogies. Sources suggest four other units will follow.
