SVR Shunt Special

The Severn Valley Railway undertook a major reorganisation of its Engine House museum at Highley on March 5 to make room for No. 7819 Hinton Manor. During the resulting shunt several SVR favourites were brought out in the open for the first time in a long while. Bob Sweet was on hand to record the event.

Class 14 No. D9551 propels ex-Longmoor Military Railway ‘WD’ 2-10-0 No. 600 Gordon into Highley station following its extraction from the Engine House. It was later taken to Kidderminster for turning.
