Thousands of Eurostar passengers delayed by ‘Brexit’ protestor

A MAN who gained access to the roof of a tunnel that carries Eurostar and HS1 ‘Javelin’ services over the East Coast Main Line and Stratford International ruined the weekend of thousands of passengers. 

Terry Maher, 44, of Cubitt St, Camden, gained access to the roof of the tunnel on the evening of March 29, and draped in a St George flag delayed rail services during a 12-hour stand off with police.

The protestor was not on the roof of St Pancras as some news reports stated.
