Hull Trains to restart this week

OPEN ACCESS operator Hull Trains will start running again on Friday, after a gap of more than 19 weeks. All services had been withdrawn on 30 March in response to the coronavirus lockdown. Fares will be discounted and a reduced timetable will apply, with two services between Hull and London each way on weekdays and three on Sundays. Managing director Louise Cheeseman said: ‘The standard of cleanliness on our brand-new trains is already second-to-none and we are exceeding hygiene practices further on every journey. We’re really excited to be back on track.’ Grand Central services returned last month.
