Train
services
are
running
normally
again
north
of
Preston
on
the
West
Coast
Main
Line,
after
a
derailed
freight
train
blocked
the
railway
on
Wednesday
afternoon.
There
were
no
reports
of
any
injuries,
but
services
had
to
be
suspended
for
a
while
because
the
incident
near
Shap.

The
cause
of
the
derailment
is
not
yet
known,
but
inspectors
from
the
RAIB
have
been
collecting
evidence.
